Description
Our R51 bash plates will fit all most from 2005 to 2015. You must measure the 2 most forward mounting holes before purchase please.
The plates have been designed to replace the front factory plate and cover underneath the motor from the cross member the factory front plate finishes to the the second cross member towards the rear of the vehicle. The Transmission Plate will bolt to the sump plate and follow through to the next cross member with a 300mm over hang. We always recommend buying the 3 piece set but unfortunately some Bull Bars remove the front plate top mounting brackets.
*Before you purchase a Bull Bar check it does not remove the front plate top mounting brackets!!
Fitting Instructions of the second plate: Due to the 2 build locations and the models Rx, St, St-x and 550 there are different ways to mount.
A) The second cross member has welded nuts in side and the plate can be easily bolted on
B) The second cross member has holes going all the way through, we supply long bolts, washers and nuts.
C) The second cross member only has holes in the base of it. You will have to drill all the way through and we supply the long bolts, washers and nuts. (seek professional help if you are not confident to do this)

Not sure which material choose?
Mild steel is great for short term usage 6 to 12 months. After various knocks Mild steel start to crack and rust over time. Stainless Steel is a far superior metal that endure a lot more hits and beach driving. The most popular setup is 3mm stainless, these plates are great for general 4wding, will last you for years and give you piece of mind.

Very good communication with Simon in regards to getting a bash plate for my 2012 Nissan Pathfinder. I got the Stainless and it is high quality. Delivered in around a week’s time to my front door – all bubble wrapped and stickered
I had some issues with mounting the sump plate as the cross membrane has laser pre-cut holes but I was unable to put the supplied M10 bolts through. Simon did give me a heads up of that was the case prior to installation. A method is either use rivnut nuts or drill through. I just drilled through and mounted it. All 3 plates overlap and cover the front to the transmission. Remember to keep original bolts as I had a stock Nissan bull bar where I had to re-use those mounts

Great product, I can fully recommend, received quickly and they were even protected in bubble wrap! (overkill for bash plates but appreciated). All the holes lined up where needed, I did need to mod my center cross member to accept the mounting bolts, but that’s more Nissan fault than COA.
Item to note: I have genuine Nissan alloy bull bar (facelift model) and there is a small plate that needs to be retained between the bar and the new COA bash plates, this is still tin plate rubbish, would be good if COA did replacement for that as well 🙂

I’m happy to say that I received my plates quickly and installed them.
Great quality product at a fair price. They have already proven their worth on the first outing, handled some big hits like a champ.
I just have one query. The rear section of the last plate that extends under the transfer case has been bent up by obstacle contact. It now touches and rattles against the transfer case.
My solution for now will be to make up some rubber bushings between the plate and case.
I’m wondering if you make any addition plates or supports that extend rearward to hold this plate off the transfer case?
Either way, minor issue, definitely worth the investment to protect you 4wd.
